Adventure is waiting! Apply for The Tall Ships Races sailing!
The Tall Ships Races 2024 event offers young people aged 15-25 the opportunity to experience a unique sailing adventure in July 2024!
The Tall Ships Races brings together sailing ship crews from around the world, and according to these crews, you are the one who has the opportunity to participate as a trainee. With sailing you get to know new people, you get to experience unique experiences in an international atmosphere, you learn new things and you get to enjoy a sea adventure together with others.
You don’t need previous sailing experience to go sailing, because an enthusiastic and open-minded attitude, motivation to learn new things and to do teamwork is enough. To apply, you need a valid passport or identity card. For those under 18, the guardian’s consent is also required. Physical limitations are not an obstacle to applying, as there are many types of ships. Possible limitations should be mentioned in the application.
You can apply for two different legs: from Klaipeida, Lithuania to Helsinki or from Helsinki to Tallinn. The route between Klaipeda and Helsinki is the first competition leg. The leg between Helsinki and Tallinn is the Cruise in company sailing, where there is no competition.

29.6.-6.7.2024 (7 days) Klaipeda-Helsinki
6.7.-13.7.2024 (7 days) Helsinki-Tallinn
Participation in the sailing includes the vessel fee, full maintenance, meals and official program both at sea and on land, as well as trips to the departure or return port (Helsinki to Klaipeda or Tallinn to Helsinki). The deductible price for participation is 500 euros/participant.
Trips to the ports of departure or from the return port to home are made responsibly using ship and bus.
